Composite fillings are very durable and will last many years, giving you a long lasting, painless smile. There are many types of filling materials available, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.  You and your dentist can discuss the best options for restoring your teeth.

A crown protects and strengthens tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations.  Porcelain crowns are made to match the shape, size, and color of your teeth, giving you a long-lasting, beautiful smile.

There are several types of bridges.  You and our dentists will discuss the best options for your particular case.  The “traditional bridge” is the most popular type and is usually made of porcelain fused to metal.  This type of bridge consists of two crowns that go over two anchoring teeth (abutment teeth) and are attached to pontics (artificial teeth), filling the gap created by one or more missing teeth.  Dental bridges are highly durable and will last many years.

There are two types of dentures, complete and partial dentures.  Complete dentures are used when all of the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.  A partial denture not only fills in the spaces created by missing teeth, it prevents other teeth from shifting.  A complete denture can be either “conventional” or “immediate.”  A conventional type is made after the teeth have been removed and the gum tissue has healed (usually takes 4 to 6 weeks). Finally, dentures are very durable appliances and will last many years.

When both the tooth and root are damaged, the best permanent replacement is a dental implant in conjunction with a ceramic crown. This solution both looks and functions just like a natural tooth.

In this case, when replacing three teeth in the far back of the mouth, a fixed bridge anchored to dental implants is the only fixed alternative. Traditional dentures can't offer the same stability or function.

Having dental implants replacing your lost back teeth will give you  new, unparalleled strength and stability that allows you to eat what you want.

When all teeth are missing or in such condition that they need to be replaced with a full arch.  A dull arch is a fixed bridge anchored to dental implants is the best permanent solution.  This procedure replaces a full jaw with dental implants and a fixed bridge that results in a permanent, stable and high aesthetic solution.

NOTE: We are able to preform extractions.  There are numerous situations in which a simple extraction can help alleviate pain or prepare you for another cosmetic or restorative procedure.  It is often recommended to graft bone in extraction cases to preserve bone integrity and your natural aesthetic.

Invisalign treatment consists of a series of custom-made aligning trays.  The dentist changes the trays every several weeks to fit the new tooth configuration.  In addition to the reduced visual impact, Invisalign aligning trays can be temporarily removed for important occasions – meaning that treatment duration is patient-controlled. Invisalign may not be right for everyone.  You and your dentist will discuss is Invisalign is right for you.
